Getting Started Answers

  • What do I need to do to sign up with you?
  • You will need to sign our Prepaid Card Agreement and enrollment form which outlines the responsibilities and requirements of each party. Once you are approved, you will order cards and we will schedule training. It's that simple.
  • What do you mean when you say Convenient Cards is a turnkey program provider?
  • As a turnkey program provider, we provide you with everything you need to be successful in selling cards, supporting your customers, and ensuring compliance. We provide marketing materials, training, point of sale systems, reporting tools, customer support and program compliance.
  • How long does it take to get up and running?
  • If you are not co-branding your cards (adding your logo), we can have you up and running within 2-3 weeks after receiving your signed enrollment form. If you are co-branding the cards, you have to be approved by Visa as a cobrander and our card manufacturer has to setup their systems with your logo for co-braning. Typically, you can be up and running with co-branded cards within 30-60 days.
  • How much does it cost?
  • If you are not co-branding, the only cost is for the inventory of cards that you plan to sell. If you are co-branding, there is a small setup fee and a nominal annual co-branding renewal fee.
  • Who at my bank / credit union will be selling cards?
  • In the most successful implementations, tellers and customer service reps will both be selling cards. Typically, tellers sell mostly consumer focused cards (Gift, TravelMoney and Access) and CSRs sell corporate focused cards (Payroll, Corporate World, Incentive) and turndown account alternatives (Access).
  • Do I need to create marketing materials?
