Greg D. Caldicott | President and CEO
Greg Caldicott has over 20 years of experience in the financial services and software industry with a focus on building successful sales organizations in young companies. He became CEO of Convenient Cards in July 2009 after successfully executing the merger of Convenient Cards and EstateWorks, Inc. where he was CEO. EstateWorks is the leading provider of web-based estate planning and settlement software serving national financial institutions and law firms including Bank of America, Citigroup, BB&T and Comerica. Before that, he was VP of sales & business development for XFormx, a web conferencing & collaboration company. Before that, he was chief operating officer at Radio Active Media Partners, a leading Internet radio service provider. Earlier, Caldicott was manager of business operations for IBM’s personal communications group. He earned his MBA from Stanford University and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University.
Adam David | Vice President Operations
Adam David has an extensive background in retail banking, business operations and compliance. Prior to joining Convenient Cards, Adam established a successful residential property management company, and worked for several years at Citizens Bank (a wholly owned subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland) in their Retail Banking division. At the time, Citizens was ranked as one of the 10 largest U.S. banks in terms of assets. Most recently at Citizens, Adam was responsible for corporate training of sales and compliance. Prior to that, he was responsible for staff coaching and support during acquisitions and conversions. Also at Citizens, Adam was integral to the establishment of a regional strategic think-tank designed with the goal of overcoming traditional industry hurdles using non-traditional approaches. Prior to Citizens, while at the Florida Department of Insurance, Adam developed web-based solutions to increase the efficiency of business operations. He graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a degree in Multinational Business Operations.
Don Tappin | Vice President Business Development
Don Tappin brings to Convenient Cards nearly fifteen years of sales and business development experience. Don became part of the Convenient Cards team as a result of the merger of Convenient Cards and EstateWorks in July 2009. At EstateWorks, Don was responsible for launching new products, doubling the number of customers and closing business with large financial institutions such as Citigroup. Prior to joining EstateWorks, Don worked at both Wolters Kluwer and Xerox where he successfully grew undeveloped territories by selling data and process management solutions to large financial institutions. He counts many of the world’s largest financial and legal institutions amongst his list of former and current clients. Don is also passionate about community service. He is a Board of Trustees member for the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School and also sits on the Steering Committee for his local Boy Scouts of America organization. Don is a graduate of both Plymouth State University and the National University of Ireland.
Brian Edgerly | Treasurer
Brian Edgerly came to Convenient Cards in 2007, first as an independent financial consultant and then Treasurer. He previously served as General Manager of a regional recycling facility where, in just 4 years, he led the development of a startup to a multi-million dollar enterprise that ultimately sold to Waste Management, the largest waste company in the world. He holds a bachelors degree from Colgate University and an MBA in accounting from Western New England College.
Eric Hedman | Chief Technology Officer
Eric Hedman has 20 years experience in technical leadership roles with early stage companies spanning internet music, network security, and mobile technologies with emphasis on secure, scalable, hosted consumer facing applications. For the past several years, Eric has been managing the technical infrastructure/operations at EstateWorks, a SAS solution providing workflow management for estate planning and settlement. Prior to EstateWorks, Eric led the development of products and services at Mobot Inc, a mobile startup developing image recognition applications for mobile smartphones. Mobot offered innovative marketing applications using the mobile handset as a "mouse click on the real world". Eric managed Mobot's technology roadmap through a successful acquisition of the company and beyond. In 1996, Eric created one of the first interactive audio "jukeboxes" on the web which led to the formation of RadioAMP in 1999. As founder and CTO of RadioAMP, he built and managed a technical team which quickly grew to operate the most widely used "white label" music service on the internet, serving the major portals, media sites, and brands. Earlier in his career, Eric held technical leadership positions at Raptor Systems Inc -- a network security/firewall provider, at Open Market Inc -- a pioneer in internet commerce and internet security technologies, and at Vicorp Technologies -- an interactive voice system provider. Eric began his career at Bell Laboratories developing data network products and technologies. Eric holds an MBA, a Masters of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
