Activating/Registering your Card

Single load cards must be activated prior to use. Reloadable cards must be activated and registered prior to use.

Cards Purchased at Retail Locations

If you received your card from a retail location and it is a reloadable card, your card is already activated and registered. If you received your card from a retail location and it is a single load gift or incentive card, your card is already activated, but not registered.

Single load gift and incentive cards do not need to be registered prior to use. However, it is highly recommended that you register your card so that it can be used for online and telephone purchases.

Cards Received by Mail

If you received your card by mail, it must be activated prior to use. To activate your card, follow the instructions on the activation label.

Registering your card

To register your card, visit the cardholder website. Enter your card number to create an online card account and register your card. Alternatively, call 1-800-486-0252 and follow the prompts to register your card.
